In the period of 18th and 19th of May 2010 in Chisinau within the Week of Telecommunications and Information Society in the Republic of Moldova were held the International Conference "Moldova e-Gov Summit 2010" called "Information and Communication Technology for better governance".
Within the Conference were presented the best international practices on implementation and application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in e-governance, e-education, e-health sectors. There were presented a series of projects providing public services through electronic means (e-services).

During the sessions were presented and discussed with great interest the successful solutions and results of Estonia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia related to ICT implementation for better governance and public service development, various aspects of organizing e-government centers, public-private partnerships, of foreign technical assistance in the development of electronic services, e-Gov solutions, models of e-services portals with access via digital signature, examples of successful implementation of "One stop shopping", Management Information Systems of public finances. There were also organized sessions on e-Democracy and e-Agriculture solutions.
